In the Indian state of Chhattisgasgarh, the greenfield Site Complex of Nagarnar is under construction for a new steel complex with annual capacity of 3 million tons of steel, including two large-volume coke oven batteries with the complete chemical part (BPP) of the coking plant. HUTNÍ PROJEKT Frýdek-Místek is together with its Indian consortional partners participating in building of BPP part.
In November 2019, HUTNÍ PROJEKT Frýdek-Místek carried out the check of Operation system for the complex of the chemical part of the coking plant with the Indian subcontractor – EMERSON – FAT (Factory Acceptance Test). During the tests the functionality of the control system was verified by simulation regarding to project parameters; HUTNÍ PROJEKT Frýdek-Místek, as the technology provider, raised its additional requirements for incorporation before the final application of the SW for “live operation”.
The construction of the chemical part of the complex is coming to its final stage. The commissioning, which is planned for 2020, will be carried out by a team of HUTNÍ PROJEKT Frýdek-Místek in cooperation with employees of our Indian branch of HUTNÍ PROJEKT (FM) INDIA from Kolkata.
