Description:
The project´s aim was reduction of fugitive emissions from the Blast furnace charging system 2 and 4 – That was done by replacing of the existing electrostatic precipitators for fabric filters and the entire replacement and revamping of the exhaust pipe. During the erection was made complete dismantling of existing equipment – electrostatic precipitators, flue, exhaust pipes and related equipment. A new filtration plant including a new chimney, switching station, compressor station was installed and new exhaust pipes for all the chutes in the ore bridge and connection to the filtration plant was erected.
